Delivery
Every rider settles to the cent
Home delivery: riders carry their orders on their phone, nearest first, and the till hands out change and settles up with each one at the end of the shift.
- Deliveries get their own tab on the till, with address, rider and status.
- Riders have their own phone screen, with their PIN and from the street: they see what is left to deliver, nearest first, pick up unassigned orders, open the route on the map and record the delivery and payment.
- Their location only sorts the list on their phone: it is never sent or stored.
- Change float from the till and settlement per rider: cash collected plus float.
- The customer ticket prints when the order is fired, with the expected change for cash payments.
- Phone, web and platform orders in the same list.
Not included: Past deliveries can still be looked up and charged if the module is removed.
